SUMMER KICKOFF PARENT MEETING - June 5, 2024, Time TBD, (Probably in Library)

ATHLETIC CLEARANCE - All WHS athletes are required to complete the Athletic Clearance Process each year before participating in any sports programs at WHS (including try-outs, practices, and summer training programs.) - For questions, contact the WHS Athletic Dept at 805.497.6711 ext 1013. PHYSICALS – Every player is required to have a sports physical before trying out and as part of the Athletic Clearance process. Body Logic in Thousand Oaks will be hosting a physical day for Westlake HS Sports (TBD)

SUMMER TRYOUTS - will be the week of June 17-21 (Actual Dates and Times TBD)

AFTER TRYOUTS – Summer Practice begins the day after tryouts (** Any Player that makes the Varsity Team will be going to UCSD Team Camp (Jun 21-23) - More Info to Come)

VACATIONS – The Best time to take a vacation is during the CIFSS Dead Period (July 1-14) or during August 1-20 before school starts back up.

FALL – There will be practice along with strength & conditioning happening during the fall once we are back in school. As we get closer to the Fall season, we will plan our Fall League Games and update the calendar.

THANKSGIVING & CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS - There will be practices and possible tournaments during Thanksgiving & Christmas breaks. Check the calendar once it’s updated before going on any trips during these breaks that will cause you to miss practice.

Our Winter Basketball Season runs from October 15 to February/March.

Our Summer Basketball Season runs from June to August (Minus the Dead Period)

Our Fall Basketball Season runs from September to October 15
